Annabelle is Listening
Article posted on Saturday, September, 5th, 2009 at 9:49 amNow I remember what it was I wanted to say.
As Annabelle and I were playing with her ponies yesterday, one was baking, one was taking a bath and the last one had me cracking up.
Annabelle: Sweetiebelle is (indistinct)-cook.
Me: What?
Annabelle: Sweetiebelle's a fry cook.
Me: She's a what?
Annabelle: A fry cook!
I died laughing. Then I said, "who else is a fry cook?"
"Spongebob! Fry cook!" She exclaimed.
It was hilarious. But it also shows how many subtleties children can pick up even at a young age. Lesson and note to self: Be careful what you say! Annabelle is listening.
