Annabelle said the funniest thing to Nana this morning. When she woke up, she wanted a drink and Nana was fixing it as fast as she could, and she said, “What’s the problem, Nana?”

She does say some funny things.

We love her so much.

I sometimes feel like I am always the listener. The one people tell everything to, yet I feel they don’t know me — or want to?

Anyway…

I went to a bookstore the other day and it had a rack of gift cards for the store. One of them looked like on of those name tags. You know the ones: “Hello, my name is…” This one looked like a name tag, but it said, “Hello, call me …” And in handwritten script it said, “Ishmael.” I just about died laughing. Very clever. I took a picture…

That’s about it. And, oh yes, it rained yesterday, breaking a month-long drought. Praise the Lord!
