Big News

Annabelle laughed — giggled, really — for the first time yesterday. I was so excited. I wanted to hear it again and again and again, but she just did it that once. It sounded a lot like me (and her Auntie Gigi), so I am confident she’s going to be her Momma’s daughter. Lots of late-night phone calls, silly games, and someday, I hope, she’ll be our sister in Alpha Phi. But, if not, I hope she finds a group of best friends like I have. I’ve been so blessed in my life to have all my sorority sisters, my friends from high school, friends from college, the people I’ve met through work over the years. Somehow, I have managed to cobble together this amazing group of people. I hope Annabelle finds her niche of good, loyal, true friends, like I have.
