What is a Friend?

Do you believe you have to have met someone in person to call them a friend? Please post your comments below. Yes, yes, I know you, my dear readers, and I know you don't like to comment, but I really want to know. So gosh darn it! Click that "comment" button below and tell me what you think. You can do it anonymously if you wish. Don't make me come badger you in person.

Annabelle has gotten so cute. I recommend checking out my photos of her if you haven't done so lately.

Finally, the Thrashers dropped another game on Saturday night. They had victory within sight, but fumbled at the goal line, so to speak. That's five straight losses. Ugh.

Well...I am touchy, mushy...here goes.... FRIENDS...what a wonderful relationship! I met a friend over the phone, she lived in LA and I in Houston. We talked about everything, she came to stay in our home without seeing us. Our friendship was exciting and fabulous. I loved her before I saw her. However I do have to say a word about the other type of friends...the ones God chooses for you...like neighbors. She/he love you when you are angry, bad, good fun and know where all your "bumps" are and still love you. Those type are the ones I say with some silliness are like me: If you called in the middle of the night with a dead body, those kind would show up with a shovel and not ask any questions. Yes, Annabelle, I know I told your Mommy more than she asked for...smile at her for me and she will forget about my verbosity.XOXO

No, you don't have to actually meet them in person. I have a few friends who are online friends. One I have spoken to on the phone for almost a year now. We have never met, but we are close friends.

    goes back to lurking
